So it’s 2020 and you’re 30, now what?

Goals… Resolutions…Successes…Challenges…Growth…

My Top Nine from Instagram. These are fun to see. I guess you could say Ryker has been a HUGE part of our lives this year. 😀

With the new year upon us, as with most people, I am reflecting and looking back at my challenges and successes. I love to dream big, which sometimes makes me a little impatient with life or unsettled.

There are days where I feel like I am just not living life to its fullest. What am I even doing with my life? Is this where I am supposed to be? Am I cut out for mom life?

THEN I GIVE MYSELF A PEP TALK…

Life is like a table, there are spots at it, sometimes the head of the table takes up more presence than the others. Sometimes we are all conversing nicely and getting along well. Other times a chair gets pulled out and is empty for a little bit, but it’s still there.

While I do have to remind myself of this quite frequently, there will be a time when one chair gets pushed back in and another may take a back seat for a bit. Right now I am excited for the new thing called ‘mom-life’.

Some day I hope to not have to wake up and go work for someone else. Some day I want to own my own marketing and social media management company. Some day I also hope to teach adult learners office skills and technology. Those are my big goals, long-term. They are always in the back of my mind.

There I said it. (so if you know of anyone looking for marketing help, I am your gal ;))

In the mean time, I am focusing on this year.

I am excited to see where this year takes me as a new mom. What Ryker’s growth and changes are going to bring to him and to us as family. Personally:

  • Coaching Volleyball
  • Continuing to Grow My Blog
  • Pray at Night
  • Practice Mindfulness
  • Run one 5K this Year
  • Read 5 Books
  • Stay active in the community
  • Rock the Mom-Life in Every Way Possible 🙂

Are you a word of the year kind of person?

Resilience

Intention

Purpose

Diligent

Those are words I am contemplating for a ‘word’ this year. Heck, maybe I’ll keep all of them. This Enneagram drawing resonates with me so much. I am an 8.

It’s from EnneagramAshton on Instagram.

What are you goals for the year? Are you focusing family more? I hope no matter what you are looking to accomplish this year that you live intentionally and to the fullest. Reach Big and Dream Big.
